Taylor Box Company has a steadfast mission: deliver world-class packaging. Founded in 1885, the company has passed through three generations of family owners since it was purchased in the 1920s by Howard Scholes. Dan Shedd, the company’s current president, is the third generation of family leadership. Taylor Box Company originally made packaging for Rhode Island’s prosperous jewelry industry. Today, the company designs and produces packaging for a wider variety of clientele. Some of these clients include major fashion retailers, marketing firms and lifestyle brands such as Victoria’s Secret, Nike, HBO, and Chrysler.

They work in engineering and manufacturing high efficiency indoor heating, cooling, and plumbing comfort systems. Over the last 100 years they have perfected their products to support their customers. The company’s work has saved customers energy, money and resources while improving their indoor environmental quality.
