Position Description: The fundamental scope of this role is to manage the quality management system along with all activities associated with Guill’s various certifications and to lead quality improvement efforts.


Position Responsibilities:

Ownership and execution of the quality management system.
Coordinate all activities associated with Guill’s ISO9001:2015, AS9100D, and Military certifications.
Develop product quality inspection plans to assure product meets customer requirements.
Lead root cause investigation and development of corrective action plans for all customer complaints.
Liaison between company and source inspectors/customers.
Directs inspection and testing activities and when necessary, will perform inspection and testing activities.
Collects, analyzes, and utilizes data to lead continuous improvement activities.

Position Knowledge / Skills / Requirements:

Strong knowledge of ISO9001:2015 requirements
Strong knowledge of AS9100D requirements
Sound problem solving skills.
Capable of reading and interpreting machinist blueprints.
Associates degree or 5 years’ experience as a quality engineer.
Six Sigma Greenbelt

Solid interpersonal skills both verbal and written in dealing with others.
Sound decision making including risk management.
Strong organizational skills.
A continuous learner.
Action oriented, results driven.

Preferred Requirements:

Six Sigma Black belt
5 years’ experience in a machining environment.
Working knowledge of military specifications.
Experience managing quality technicians.
Experience leading continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Salary Commensurate with experience
